Next I planned on pressing on the trunnion and headspacing it. I went to
press on the barrel and discovered that the rear sight base was to wide to
fit in the trunnion slot.

The rear hinge block measures .941" and the trunnion .866" so about
.085 " will have to be milled off the rear hinge block before the barrel can
be installed.

Since I am stalled out on the barrel Assembly I installed the trigger guard.
I measured the location of the mag catch pin from another gun and drilled
the holes. Installing the mag catch and spring is a real PITA!, I used a pin
punch to hold it together while installing the pin. I used 2 rivets to flare the
mag catch pin, then finished them with a small ball peen hammer.
