We will start with the tripod, here is a list of the material you will
need. It can all be ordered in small quantities from online metals, click
the link above.

2'  1 1/2" x 1" x .060 rectangular steel tubing
2'  1" x 1" x .060" square steel tubing
1'  2" x 1/8"  hot rolled steel flat
1'  1 1/2" x 1/4" cold rolled steel flat
1'  3/4" x 1/4" cold rolled steel flat
The first step is to cut 2 pieces of the 1" x 1" tubing to 9 3/4" one end
will have a 45 degree angle and the other end a 22 degree angle. Next
cut a piece 3 1/4" long with 22 degree angles on both ends. This will be
the front leg assembly.
Clamp up the front leg assembly with the 22 degree cuts at the top
and tack weld it together
Next cut a length of the 1 1/2" x 1" tubing to 18", one end will  have a
22 degree angle, and the other end a 68 degree angle 1/4" down from the
top side.
Cut a 2 1/4" piece of the 1 1/2"  tubing with square ends, and notch one
end to fit the 1" x 1" tubing at a 22 degree angle. Measure in from the
straight end 1/2" and drill a 1/2" hole through the piece.
