This is what a bunch of the feed blocks in kits look like. The first
thing to do is take the nasty thing completely apart.

Blast only the brass and steel block itself, solvent and wire brush the rest
of the parts.

Lube all moving parts with white grease, I like Lubriplate 1200. It doesn't
hurt to also treat the steel parts with Breakfree and I spray the block with
WD 40 after blasting.
