I got this kit several months ago and have ordered a side plate and semi auto
conversion parts and machining from Halo Manufacturing.
The plate should be here some time next week and I can begin turning this pile
of old parts into a gun. It is similar to, but a lot different than a 1919 as you can
tell by the pile of parts.

My side plate arrived today, It is a thing of beauty! As you can see
from the photo there is a lot more to it than a 1919 plate, the rear has the
raised portion and a lot of metal needs to be removed to make it.

I sent the internals off to Halomfg.com last week to be machined and
hope to have them back in a couple of weeks and can begin to do the
build. In the meantime I am refinishing all the parts. I am going with a black
parkerized finish, using manganese park solution and a post black dip.
