Using drills or pin gages measure the thickness of the bolt lock bar
you will need. There come in a variety of thicknesses and you can buy the
proper one or grind one to fit. This build was a non standard size, so I had
it ground to fit.

Before pressing in the locking bar make sure the head fits the slot in
the receiver, fit it as necessary then press it in. Check the head space with
both go and no go gages to make sure it is correct. If it is OK you can
finish assembly.

Install the carry handle, and gas system. Assemble the gas nut, gas
tube and gas regulator and put it in place and tighten the rear gas nut.
Install the regulator, retaining spring, gas piston and gas plug.
