Counter
Riveting Tutorial 2
You have a plate that probably looks a little like this, you should have
clamped them outside to outside and drilled all the holes.  You should have
attached the cam, use the provided rivets, countersink the cam and
sideplate just a little.
You should finish off the rivets on the cam flush on both sides.  Also,
you should have located and drilled the the holes for the check lever
bracket.  It's easy to locate because the lower holes go over #5 and #6 from
the rear of the sideplate bottom plate holes, same location as the tripod stop
on the left plate. Use 2 of the flat head rivets furnished to attach the bracket
to the side plate and finish off flush on the inside and outside of the plate.
The rivet location will overlap the lower denial island but that's OK,
just finish off everything smooth.
It seems that most kits are missing 1 or both of the fuse rivets or studs
from the left sideplate, Pirate has been kind enough to have had some of
them made and will be glad to supply you with a set for not a bunch of
money, please contact him for details. If you're cheap and want to make your
own, they are not the same size as the one on the slide, just a hint.  These
must be attached before you go any further, do a light countersink on the
inside of the plate and set them good.  You mat want to use a slightly larger
hammer for this but do not crush them, finish off inside flush.  Note that the
plate is only .060 thick where these rivets seat.

Lets look at some photos showing the denial islands, the left cam, and
the fuse rivets.
